A ground-up introduction to the Arabic of the Quran. We start at the alphabet and finish with simple sentences you can read unaided.

By the end you will:

• Read and write all 28 letters in every position
• Recognise the difference between ism, fi'l and harf
• Build and understand simple nominal and verbal sentences

Complete beginners. If you cannot yet read Arabic script, this is the right starting point.

Taught by Ustadha Maryam Ibrahim, whose specialism is Arabic linguistics.

Eight weeks, one live session per week, online. Weekly written exercises are marked and returned.
